About This Project

Client brief: Our client wanted a range of merchandise to accompany touring theatre shows across the UK to be sold at performances. We created a range of merchndise for the shows Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo and The Railway Children. Some of the products had specific requirements, for example the whistle for The Railway Children. The product had to be a replica of a whistle used in the theatre production and also be presented in bespoke packaging.  

About the client: Theatre Royal – Newcastle upon Tyne are a progressive theatre with multiple productions requiring different degrees of merchandise as well as functional signage, seat covers and branded masks. 

Product sourcing: UK, China

Quality control: Tight CE regulated and labelling for the toys to ensure that they were safe for UK and EU distribution by an independent 3rd party

Distribution: Sea import of whistles plus multiple deliveries across the UK to venues in advance of shows distributed from our warehouse.

Bespoke branded show merchandise

To support this spectacular dinosaur themed show for children, Wurlin created a roar-some selection of souvenir merchandise. Included in the range (safety checked against EU standards) were –

Cute and cuddly dinosaurs – suitably soft and colourful, toys designed for children of all ages

The ever popular dinosaur ‘grabber’ toys in two different sizes and featuring a variety of species including T-Rex and Triceratops amongst other popular choices

Children’s activity books packed with dinosaur themed games of universal appeal, with educational facts appearing alongside colouring pages, etc.
